Story

The Oued takes its name from the Arabic word for river — a form that moves. The chair's frame describes an architectural section: two planes meeting at a deliberate angle, held in tension by the upholstered volume that fills them.

The result is a chair that looks designed but feels inevitable.

Materials

American black walnut is one of the most dimensionally stable hardwoods available. Each piece carries the unique grain and character of its origin.

The leather is full-grain and vegetable-tanned in small batches, developing a rich patina over time that is unique to each owner.

Care

Wood: Dust with a dry cloth. Re-oil annually using linseed or tung oil. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the natural color of the wood.

Leather: Wipe with a clean damp cloth. Condition with a natural leather balm every 6–12 months.

Each piece is made to order.

Lead Time: 8–10 weeks from order confirmation.

White-glove delivery is included, with placement in the room of your choice and full assembly service. Every piece is accompanied by a numbered certificate of craft.
