Story

The Medina is a study in the relationship between the pillow and the plane. The leather cushion — with its sculpted, architectural radius — floats above a structure of oak slabs and dark steel joiners.

It is at once primitive and refined, the way a medina itself is: ancient form, lived-in warmth.

Materials

White oak is selected for its open grain, durability, and natural warmth. The saddle leather is full-grain — neither corrected nor embossed — allowing every natural mark and variation to become part of the piece's character.

The steel joinery is hand-brushed and designed to develop a subtle oxide patina over time, adding depth and authenticity to the material palette.

Care

Wood: Wipe with a dry cloth. Oil annually using a natural wood oil. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

Leather: Condition every 6 months with a natural leather balm. Clean spills immediately using a soft, dry cloth.

Steel: Wipe dry after any contact with moisture to preserve its finish.

Delivery & Configuration

Available in single (160 cm), double (240 cm), and custom lengths.

Lead Time: 6–8 weeks from order confirmation.

White-glove delivery and placement are included. The Medina pairs naturally with the Oued Lounge Chair as part of the Atlas room setting. Joint orders include a co-signed studio certificate.
