Story

The Riad is an exercise in balance. a composition of weight, proportion, and restraint. A solid timber volume rests upon a recessed base, creating the impression that the object floats slightly above the ground.

Inspired by the monumental landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, the table is reduced to its essential geometry: a surface, a mass, and a shadow. Quiet in appearance yet substantial in presence, it is designed to accompany rather than compete.

Materials

Care

Wood: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Clean with a slightly damp cloth when necessary and dry immediately. Reapply a natural wood oil or hardwax treatment annually to maintain the finish.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and standing water.
